The Dutch Design Chair CHRISTMAS has been specially developed for the Christmas gift market. The Chair is first used as a box with a lid in which the Christmas package can be packed. Then, the recipient takes the contents of the Christmas package out of the box and folds a Dutch Design Chair in ten seconds. This way, the packaging does not have to be thrown away. For this smart idea, creator and founder Tim Várdy received four stars for sustainability in de Volkskrant. The Dutch Design Chair also won the Red Dot Design Award for the most beautiful design.
